INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE • Use as directed. Failure to follow instructions, warnings and precautions could result in hot or cold burns to the skin. PREPARATION Microwave*: Gel pack should only be heated from room temperature state; never heat frozen. Place the gel pack on a paper towel in the center of the microwave. Heat for no more than 50 seconds; knead to distribute heat throughout the package. Continue heating in 10 second intervals until the desired temperature is reached. Microwave power power levels vary. As microwaves age, the power output may decrease. If the bag begins to expand, stop heating immediately. *Microwave power is typically found on the door or inside the instruction manual. Freezer: Place the gel pack in the freezer for a minimum of 1 hour before use. The gel pack can be stored in the freezer for immediate use. APPLICATION • Inspect gel pack for cracks or tears before use; Discard if bag is torn or leaking. • Apply the gel pack to the treatment site. Monitor skin during use. • The approximate therapeutic time is 10 to 20 minutes. • Seek medical advice for a skin reaction, persistent numbness, severe pain or discomfort during or after treatment. Content: Propylene glycol hydropolymer, water WARNING: Use with care. May cause severe burns. Do not use on sensitive areas of the skin or in the presence of poor circulation. Unattended use of pads by children or incapacitated people can be dangerous.
